It's our fourth of July tradition to go to a friends house and watch fireworks and eat homemade ice cream while stretched out on our blankets in their huge backyard! We look forward to it all year long!!
Luke and fire are not a smart combination

Mom went with the boys and I to the park yesterday so that we could get out of the house. It was an adventure for sure! It took all of us with something (or someone) in our hands to make it back home in one piece. Three hours out is about all we can handle before we start what I call "melting"... and I don't mean from the heat. Mom and Ricky know the phrase well! "We're melting" means we have little time left to evacuate the situation before a major meltdown occurs. So, an hour at the park and a quick lunch was perfect for my crew... and we do have a crew these days! Our 8 passenger Odyssey has one available seat after we all pile in! And to think that right after Ricky and I were married I almost bought a Mini Cooper...Little did I know what was in my near future!
It was really nice to get out of the house for the morning! Thanks Mom, B and Bryceton for giving up your morning to hang out with a bunch of little kids! Love ya!
